Pictures of two of the "kids" from the last litter

I can hardly believe the Remy x Safi kids are already six months old. Where did the time go?
Braebrook's Mocha Mission known as Mocha is currently boarding with us while her owners are enjoying the Olympics in London (lucky them!). She has fit right in here and quickly made herself one of the pack. She has been a dream boarding dog, quiet overall and a good eater. We'll miss her when she goes and so will the dogs. :)

This is Miss Mocha Bean :

Braebrook's Mission Impossible known as Tommy spent the day with us last week while his owners did business in the area and it was great to see him. It's funny but when the babies go off to their new homes at about 3 months or so that is kind of how they remain in your head, so that when you see them you are always surprised at how much they have grown.

This is the handsome Tommy:

I'm happy with how these two puppies are coming along, both have great toplines, rears, feet, happy and outgoing temperaments and both are nice moving puppies. For the most part they are clean, sound and big moving, which is quite amazing in six month old babies. I expect them to just get better with age.

Their owners are doing a lovely job with them, and both the puppies and I are so grateful for that.

On a quick side note I am happy to report that Ch Braebrook's Remy Martin picked up two best of breed wins as well as a fourth in the working group this weekend at the Pacific Kennel Club dog show.

A great weekend in Portland OR!

Ch Braebrook's Remy Martin made the trip down to Portland OR to the Stumptown circuit and Mt Hood Doberman Specialty over the weekend and had great success! This was his first trip stateside and he was Winners Dog at the Specialty on Friday, Best of Winners at the all breed show the next day for his first major and Reserve Winners Dog on the last day. I am thrilled with his debut! Remy is owned by Joyce and Lindsay who are a wonderful home and make sure he gets the very best of care(and makes it to the dog shows!), and he is co owned by Braebrook.
I don't have any show photos from the circuit yet so am sharing this one taken a few months back. He is a wonderfully smooth and sound dog.

Remy is sired by Ch Holmrun's Fred Astaire(a son of Am Ch Cambria's Cactus Cash) and out of Ch Braebrook's Coco Chanel Holmrun(a daughter of BISS Am/Can Ch Heartwood's Jewel of WM Wranch). He is Dr Meurs cardio test negative by parentage, vWD carrier and does not carry dilution. More health testing to come.

Boarding and services

For those of you who may not know we do offer boarding and a few other services here at Braebrook.     We generally try to limit our boarders to Dobermans, but of course we don't ever like to have doggy families separated so any dogs living with the Doberman are welcome to stay too.
We take on a minimal number of boarding dogs at a time and they are treated like members of our family enjoying lots of love and house time. Dogs do sleep in crates at night but during the day are rotated between being outside in one of our three fully fenced yards(two medium and one large) or in the house with us. We are able to feed any diet/supplements you bring with you for your pets stay including raw diets and any medications your dog may require.
Any dog staying for longer than three days will be given a complimentary bath and nail trim, although these are services we offer separately as well.
As many of our dogs come from out of town we do offer ferry pick up for a nominal fee.
We also offer ear taping lessons or if you prefer you can bring your puppy back to us for taping until the ears are standing. Any puppies boarding with us will have free ear taping during their stay.
If you have any questions or to inquire about pricing please feel free to email us at: braebrookdobes@yahoo.ca

Congratulations are in order!

As you may have noticed I have gotten behind (again) on website updates, so I am going to start posting much more regularly on this blog as it's just so much easier for me to do.

I have three new show photos to share of some of the Braebrook boys doing their thing.

The first is Ch Braebrook's Remy Martin (from the Freddy x Coco litter) winning at group second at the Tyee Kennel Club show.

Next is Braebrook's Thakoon Holmrun (from the Dirk x London litter) taking a best of breed win from the classes with his owner handler Meghan.

And finally Braebrook's Walk the Line (from the Mick x Coco litter) winning his second BPIG with his owner handler Kayla.

I'm so proud of you guys! Keep up the great work! :)
